AI Music has a mode for exactly this: your own lyrics. You bring the words; the model composes the melody and sings them.
How it works
Switch the form from "Describe" to "My lyrics", paste your text, choose a style and a voice, and press create. The song follows your words — it doesn't rewrite them.
Format your lyrics with section tags
Songs have structure, and telling the model where each section goes makes a big difference. Put a tag on its own line before each part:

Common tags: [Intro], [Verse], [Pre-Chorus], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro].
Tips for lyrics that sing well
- Repeat your chorus. Songs rely on repetition; write the chorus in full each time it appears.
- Keep lines short. Long lines get rushed. Eight to ten syllables per line sings comfortably.
- Rhythm matters more than rhyme. Lines with a similar number of syllables sound more musical than perfect rhymes with uneven lengths.
- Read it out loud first. If you stumble, the singer will too.
- Leave room to breathe. A four-line verse is plenty.
Turning a poem into lyrics
Poems often don't have a chorus. To make one song-ready:
- pick the line or image that sums the poem up, and make it the chorus;
- split the rest into two or three verses of four lines;
- add the chorus between the verses and at the end.
Pick a style that fits the words
Heartfelt words suit "soft pop, piano-led, honest, mid-tempo". Angry words might want "alternative rock". Playful words might want "ukulele folk pop". You can also choose a male or female voice, and the language — which should match the language of your lyrics.
