In Korea, 8 May is Eobeoinal, Parents' Day. Children pin red carnations on their parents' chests, write letters, take them out to dinner, and schoolchildren sing songs of thanks to their parents. It's one of the few days in the year when both parents are thanked side by side, for everything they did as a team.
